Moseley Oak RFC, one of the most aspiring rugby clubs in Birmingham, was formed in 2008 and is based at the Billesley Common Rugby Complex which is shared with sister club, Moseley Rugby who play in the RFU Championship. Although originally formed in 1966 as Selly Oak RFC, the name was changed in 2008 to reflect the links that had been established with Moseley Rugby Club. Moseley Oak has very close playing and coaching links with Moseley and many players have represented both clubs.

Moseley Oak play in Midlands 2 West (North) having just been promoted.
