Welcome to the official website of Moseley Oak, previously Selly Oak RFC. Moseley Oak has been formed to bring the 2 clubs, Moseley & Selly Oak, closer together.
Selly Oak moved to Billesley Common in 2004 with Moseley RFC and share the clubhouse facilities. We are an amateur club drawing players from Selly Oak, Moseley, Kings Heath, Harborne, Edgbaston and the city centre.
Based at Billesley Common alongside our sister club Moseley RFC, we form their amateur arm giving experience to those who are moving from the Colts into adult rugby and providing opportunities for those retiring from the professional game, as well as new comers to the game. Our aim is to ensure that all who are involved with the club have an enjoyable time joining friends new and old, whilst training, playing and socialising.
This year also sees us sporting our new kit, kindly provided by our sponsors Wincanton.
Pre-season training commences on Tuesday 23rd June at 7pm and will be every Tuesday and Thursday there after. Meet at Billesley Common, everyone welcome, new players and old. Our first pre-season friendly will be away to Kings Norton on Saturday 15th August.

Pre-Season
The new season is drawing ever closer and in preparation training has begun. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at Billesley Common. We welcome new players to the game, former players and anyone who wants to play rugby. We aim to have a consistent 2nd team up and running very soon in anticipation for the new season commencing so bring along as many friends as possible.
Final Game of the 08/09 season:- 22nd April - Moseley Oak 26 -v- Burntwood 22
Oak finished the season on a high, beating 3rd placed Burntwood in a 48 point thriller in front of a busy Moseley clubhouse. One of the best performances in recent years, Oak prove they have what it takes. View the match report from our final game last season here.
